Welcome to the Department of Visual and Performing Arts!
Besides our majors, the department has opportunities for all students to be involved in art, music, and theatre.

The department welcomes new faculty:

Kalen Larson, from the University of North Carolina is the Technical Director. Kalen leads the Bachelor of Science program in Theatre and Entertainment Technology.

Dennis Kerwin, a former film and television actor, is slated to join us as a Lecturer in Performance.

David Glowacki is the New Production Manager for the Rozsa/Walker Arts Center; he will be teaching in the Audio Technology and Sound Design Programs

ATTENTION PLAYERS: The Calumet Players will hold auditions for the fall musical "Annie Get Your Gun" on July 7th, 8th, and 9th at 7:00 pm. Auditions will be held at the Calumet Players building on 6th Street in Calumet. The production will be presented at the Calumet Theater on September 12, 13, 18, 19, and 20th, 2008. The cast calls for people of all ages, including children ages 8 and up. Please come prepared with a musical selection to sing. An accompanist will be available.
